Local Businesses Urged To Explore Supply Chain Opportunities: Heathrow Expansion Logistics Hub Bid

Local businesses are being encouraged to explore supply chain opportunities for the Heathrow Expansion Logistics Hub Bid with Graham Construction.

As a Tier 1 business (i.e. a major development partner) Graham Construction is keen to engage with local businesses with an interest in the wider supply chain opportunities that will emerge from the Heathrow Expansion Logistics Hub bid project.

The key drivers for the hubs will include:
  • Innovation for modern methods of construction
  • Local networks of resources and suppliers
  • Collaborative approach
  • Capability for usage types
  • Effective transportation / logistics
 
At a practical level, the contract work will focus on the following areas:
  • Pre-fabrication off site
  • Assembly, configuration, testing and commissioning
  • Prototyping, trialling and research
  • Consolidation, storage, security and QA
  • Logistics
