Council Opens Corporate Plan Consultation

The Council has opened consultation on its draft corporate plan.
The new draft plan sets out the Council’s proposed strategic direction for the period 2020 through to 2024, with more than 20 priorities grouped under 5 themes: leadership, service delivery, economy, environment and communities.
Now published for comment from the community, businesses and other stakeholders, Chair of the Council, Councillor Martin Kearney, is encouraging local people to feedback their views:
“The Corporate Plan is a key strategic document and central to guiding the work that we will undertake in the next 4 years, whether in addressing infrastructure and economic issues, or ensuring we continue to invest in and support our local communities.
“This period of consultation on the draft document is important and will help us to ensure that our direction and our work continues to reflect the needs of the people we serve”.
The draft Corporate Plan 2020-2024 consultation runs until Friday 10 January 2020. To view the draft plan and respond to the consultation, visit
