New Digital Programme To Support 150 Mid Ulster Businesses

A new digital programme designed to support 150 Mid Ulster businesses over the next 3 years has opened for applications.
 
The programme will offer specialist support to micro and small businesses to grow sales, create new jobs and enhance their customer engagement by using digital platforms, including social media channels and e-marketing techniques.
 
The project is being managed by Mid Ulster District Council and part funded by Invest Northern Ireland and the European Regional Development Fund under the Investment for Growth and Jobs Northern Ireland (2014-20) Programme.
 
Chair of the Council, Councillor Martin Kearney, welcomed the opening of the new programme:

The Mid Ulster Digital First Programme offers local businesses a great opportunity to apply for one-to-one, free support to maximise their digital capacity and achieve a competitive advantage. Ambitious targets have been set for this programme including the creation of up to 225 new jobs, which reflects the Council’s vision to drive business growth.

 The consultants commissioned to deliver the programme are 42 Digital Ltd, and Director, Daryl Conway, said:

"42 Digital Ltd is looking forward to delivering the Digital First Programme which will include a broad range of support focussed on driving growth, from web development, ecommerce, social media, video production, to data analytics, CRM and cyber security."
