There was plenty of festive fun at Hill of The O’Neill and Ranfurly House from 11am including a Christmas Glow Party and Christmas crafts.
Family focused fun took place from 1pm – 8pm at Market Square, including music to get you in the festive mood from on-stage DJ, Choirs and the Manhattan Swing Band, face painting and family fun activities hosted in The Space, Market Square.
Chair of the Council, Councillor Córa Corry attended in the afternoon to sample the festive atmosphere for herself.
Santa then arrived in style to turn on the town’s Christmas lights at 7.45pm joined on stage by the Deputy Chair of the Council, Councillor Frances Burton and host, Lynette Fay.
