Return of Monster Maghera Halloween Hooley and Fireworks

Thousands of people turned out in Maghera last night (Tuesday 31 October) for lots of free family fun and fireworks, despite the inclement weather. 

Maghera Leisure Centre played host to the annual Halloween Hooley where lots of fun was had by little and not so little ones. Lots of little witches and monsters came along and enjoyed the entertainment and activities on offer, followed by a stunning firework display which lit up the sky and brought the evening’s activities to a close. 

Deputy Chair of Mid Ulster District Council Councillor Meta Graham came along to experience the hair-raising atmosphere for herself and to count-down to the grand finale fireworks display.
