Naming and numbering of properties
We're responsible for the naming of streets and numbering of properties in Mid Ulster. The Local Government (Miscellaneous Provisions) (NI) Order 1995 affords Council discretion to approve numbers, name streets and provide street signage including street names expressed in languages other than English.

Dual Language Street Naming
The Council has the power to erect street name plates in dual language, English and another language. In Mid Ulster, we will erect street name plates in English and in another language, where certain conditions are met.
