Ógras Centre, Coalisland has been officially reopened by Paul Carr, Deputy Director for the Regional Development Office within the Department for Communities and Councillor Dominic Molloy, Chair of the Development Committee at Mid Ulster District Council, on Friday 14th October 2016.
The funding of £247,308 for a refurbishment and associated fit out of Ógras Centre was aimed to provide a modern, fit for purpose and fully accessible youth facility for young people living in a recognised area of high deprivation.
The building now offers a range of modern facilities including a kitchen, a large function room and meeting rooms. Completed in March 2016, Ógras Centre has already seen an increase in the number of people using it.
