New GCSE Irish Class Launched In Mid Ulster

A new GCSE Irish class for adults is now on offer in Mid Ulster.

The class, which begins on Thursday 14 September in Ranfurly House in Dungannon, is a new element to Mid Ulster District Council’s Irish Language programme and being delivered in partnership with the South West College.

Welcoming the launch of the GCSE Irish class, Councillor Dominic Molloy, said:

“Mid Ulster District Council is committed to encouraging the learning of the Irish language and this joint initiative with the college consolidates the programme on offer and allows people from across Mid Ulster to study Irish in a structured format and to be able to gain a qualification on their doorstep”.
