Have a Haunting Halloween in Coalisland!

11 October 2018

Coalisland will come alive this Halloween, with a spooktacular evening of fun and fireworks for all the family to enjoy on Wednesday 31st October.

Organised by Mid Ulster District Council, and the local community, there’ll be plenty of ghostly goings-on taking place to help keep your little monsters entertained.

An array of fun community activities will take place in the run-up to Halloween including, football tournaments, art and crafts workshops, scary movie nights and a family fun day letting kids burn off some energy at Ógras Centre. To find out more go to the Ógras Facebook page.

On Halloween evening the frightful fun takes place at Gortgonis with a free family funfair from 5.30pm – 9.30pm with rides including Rock N Roll, Orbiter Machines, Chair ‘O’ Planes and Tea Cups. Marvel as the sky explodes into a fantastic fanfare of colour and lights when the spectacular fireworks display takes place at 8.45pm.

Children attending any of the Halloween events in Coalisland are to be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

Chair of Mid Ulster District Council, Councillor Sean McPeake is looking forward to an action-packed week of Halloween activities in Mid Ulster. “Mid Ulster certainly has something for everyone this Halloween. Whether it’s spectacular fireworks you’re after, spooky arts and crafts or free fun fairs, there’s plenty of activities taking place at each of our sites throughout the week to ensure you and your little ones have a truly haunting and hair-raising Halloween!”
